The upcoming Tamil film 'GOAT' starring Vijay has a huge anticipation. Set for its release on September 5, the movie is a science fiction actioner directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film has an ensemble cast and in one of the recent interviews with a Tamil regional magazine Ananda Vikatan, Venkat Prabhu said that actor Ajith wished him well for 'GOAT' and even asked him to make the film 100 times better than 'Mankatha. The director said that Ajith wanted a fitting farewell to Vijay before the actor retired from the entertainment industry to enter politics.
Venkat Prabhu also stated that Ajith ever since 'Mankatha' had wanted him to work with Vijay for a film and said that it took him more than a decade to materialise. Venkat Prabhu also speaking to the magazine revealed the film's plot and mentioned that the film revolves around a RAW agent and the Special Anti-Terrorist Squad team who are haunted by their past mission and the film goes on how they get out of the trouble.
'GOAT' features Vijay, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal, Mohan. Sneha, Laila, Jayaram, Ajai Raj, Premji, Aravind Akash, Vaibhav among others and the music for the movie is composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Meanwhile Ajith has two films in the pipeline that include 'Vidaamuyarchi' with Magizh Thirumeni and 'Good Bad Ugly' with Adhik Ravichandran which are in different stages of production.
