After veteran actor Nasser and Rahman recently, the latest from the
Tamil film
fraternity to receive the
Golden Visa
from the United Arab Emirates is director
Venkat Prabhu. The golden visa is a long-term residence that allows foreigners to live and work in the UAE without the need for a national sponsor and provides full ownership of their business.
Earlier in December 2021, actor-filmmaker R Parthiepan became the first Tamil actor to receive Golden Visa from the United Arab Emirates.
Later, actress Amala Paul, Trisha and Raai Laxmi has also received the Golden Visa and were honoured by the Dubai Government earlier in January.
Meanwhile on the work front, after the success of ‘Maanaadu’ and ‘Manmatha Leelai’, Venkat Prabhu is making his next film with Naga Chaitanya.
