Vemal’s next to be a single-shot film

Kollywood has set several impressive records in the past. Last year, Parthiepan’s Oththa Seruppu Size 7 set a record for a single person writing, directing, solo acting and producing a film. And then, he announced that he’d be making Iravin Nizhal, a single-shot feature film. A few months ago, Aju Kizhumala said that he has completed Drama, which was done in a single shot.Now, Vemal is all set to star in a film, which will also be a single-shot film!
A source says, “Vemal will be playing the lead in a horror film, which is being directed by Veera, who has previously helmed 1 Pandhu 4 Run 1 Wicket, another supernatural thriller. He has planned to complete the film in a single shot.”
The movie is in its final stages of pre-production. “The team is fixing the cast and crew,” says the source, adding, “The movie is being produced by Singaravadivelan. He and Veera became close when the latter campaigned for the former in the producer council election. Singaravadivelan decided to honour his help by producing his next.”
The film is all set to go on floors in January. Meanwhile, Vemal, whose last release was Kanni Raasi, has a slew of films in his kitty, including Chozhanaattaan.
