Vemal pins hopes on his upcoming projects

Actor Vemal, whose films haven't done well at the box office of late, has some interesting projects lined up, which, he hopes will bring the glory days of Kalavani back. The actor has signed up to play the lead in an untitled film by AG Amid, who directed last year's sleeper hit Rajathandhiram. Moreover, he will also star in a film to be directed by debutant Siva, an assistant of Suseenthiran.The film is backed by a strong technical team.While director Pandiraj, who gave Vemal his big break in Pasanga, is the dialogue writer of the film and cinematographer-director Vijay Milton handles the camera. The music of the film is by D Imman.
Besides these two films, the actor is also in talks for four high profile projects. ���With such films, I'm sure 2017 is going to be a great year for me,��� the actor said in a press release.
