Rajinikanth had invited Velu Prabhakaran to his house when he took a film of Periyar's policy. Rajinikanth had enquired him what was the problem with his directorial movie. Rajinikanth immediately extended Rs 5 lakh to Velu Prabhakaran and asked him to release the picture.

When director Velu Prabhakaran was filming Periyar's policy, no one who followed the same Periyar policy had helped him. But Rajinikanth who follows the spiritual principle had helped him.
