Vedhika's new pet

Actress Vedhika is back in K-Town and how! The girl, who has worked with Simbu in Kaalai and Lawrence in Muni, is busy shooting for Bala's Paradesi.
The actress is playing one of the leads in the film with Atharvaa, and has been shooting in the coastal villages in Tamil Nadu for the same. It was during one of the days that the kids from the village where she was shooting wanted to gift her a young parrot.
A source says, "Vedhika had grown fond of the people there, and she was being friendly with everyone. On the last day of the shoot, a kid wanted to gift her a parrot. Though she loved the little bird, she couldn't accept it because she knew it would be though to look after the bird, especially since she will be constantly travelling for her film shoots."
Vedhika had even tweeted a photo of the parrot and written, "The little cutie that the village kids wanted to gift me after the first schedule of Paradesi. Such sweethearts! But couldn't accept!"
Meanwhile, the girl, who joined twitter, has been welcomed by all her industry friends on to the micro-blogging site. She even wrote to her Sakkarakattico-star, Shanthnoo, "Hey Sakkarakatti!! Finally here!" Looks like the two are still in touch with each other!
