and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. Now, the filmmaker duo have roped in

Varalaxmi

Sarathkumar, who was last seen in Bala���s Thaarai Thappattai, and Shraddha Srinath as the female leads in the film. A source in the know tells us, ���Varalaxmi will have a complete makeover in this film. The film is an action-thriller and is set against the backdrop of north Madras.���

While Varalaxmi will be paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi, who plays a role of a gangster, Shraddha will paired opposite Madhavan, who will be seen as an encounter cop in this film. The team began shooting for the film yesterday in north Madras.
