However now, in a shocking revelation, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has said in a recent interview that she has been sexually harassed in the film industry.

Even though Varalaxmi is the daughter of the popular actor Sarathkumar, she too seems to have been unable to save herself from the casting couch in the early stage of her career. As per the actress, she has been asked to give into the wishes of some producers and directors on several occasions in the past, but she denied it as she was ready to face any struggles instead of stooping so low. However, she has proofs against some of the offenders, however she did not mention their names. Varalaxmi said that every actress should be strong enough like her to get ready to face the consequences when they oppose the casting couch.
