Varalaxmi meets Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

' in Pondicherry for the past few days. Most of the cast, including Karthi and Rahman, have been part of the Pondicherry schedule for the Mani Ratnam film, a source had told us earlier. And during her visit to Pondy, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and family got to meet Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan.

On Sunday, Varalaxmi shared happy pictures with Aishwarya, Abhishek and their daughter Aaradhya. "Despite the families n lineage that they hail from, their humility and warmth was so amazing, I was just overwhelmed with their love.!!! It was so sweet of you to meet us and spend time with us.. may god shower all his blessings on your family.!!!" Varalaxmi captioned her pictures.

On Instagram, the 'Sarkar' actress revealed that it was her father Aishwarya's co-star in the film Sarathkumar, who made this happen. "Met 3 of the warmest and most humble people last night," she said, going on to thank her dad. Aishwarya Rai is said to be play Nandini, an antagonist who is also the wife of Periya Pazhuvettarayar, played by Sarathkumar in the period film.

Based on Kalki's classic novel series of the same name, Mani Ratnam's magnum opus, too, will be made in a series of films. 'PS-1' or 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' will be released in 2022. The film also stars Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, Sarath Kumar, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Parthiban, Jayachithra, Vikram Prabhu, Ashwin Kakumanu, Vijay Yesudas, Lal, Nasser, Kishore, Nizhalgal Ravi, Riyaz Khan, Mohan Ram, Arjun Chidambaram, Vinodhini and Balaji Sakthivel among others, and has music by AR Rahman.
