The Tamil Film Industry had a tough time recently, due to the FEFSI (Employees Federation of South India) strike. Shootings were stalled and producers were anxious about the shooting dates being delayed. A few days ago, Producers’ Council and FEFSI came to an agreement on the issue and the strike was withdrawn. Film shoots have resumed.

’, directed by Selva is one of the first few teams to resume its shoot in Tuticorin. The team will be travelling to Kodaikanal after 15 days of shoot here. In the meantime, the shoot for Rajinikanth’s Kaala and the patchwork for Vijay’s

have also resumed. The industry is now gearing up for the festival releases.
