says, “Yes, Vamsi plays a negative role but a stylish one. His character gets into a brawl with Jai’s character, eventually creating tension between the two. The film’s producer is from the US, and he sent costumes from America for Vamsi’s character. His entire look, too, will be very different.”

While Jai essays the character of an IT guy, Athulya plays his love interest in the movie. “Sunil plays an important role and will be seen in the role of a politician. The film is about an international mafia and how a normal guy like Jai gets caught in it,” says the director.

The team is presently shooting in Chennai and they will go to Madurai to shoot a small portion. “We are almost done with the talkie portions. After Pongal, we will head to places like Meghalaya in the northeast to shoot songs. Even though we had to halt the shooting owing to the pandemic situation, all the actors could maintain the continuity when we resumed shooting,” says Vettriselvan, who’d earlier worked with director Vasanth and cinematographer Ravi K Chandran.
