Vairamuthu expresses his joy on meeting Rajinikanth after a long time, says 'A healthy meeting'
Vairamuthu is one of the veteran lyricists in Tamil cinema, and the popular poet has penned lyrics for over 1000 songs. Vairamuthu has now met Superstar Rajinikanth at the actor's house and expressed his happiness on the interaction through a social media post.
"A conversation without looking at the clock happens only with a few people. One among them is Superstar Rajinikanth. We spoke for 80 minutes. Except for a single cup of green tea, there were no interruptions; no breaks. The politics of cinema, cinema of politics, lifestyle, sociology, coalition calculations, leaders, and individuals—every topic intertwined and flowed in our conversation. He has clarity about everything. He has a quality of scratching the surface of his decisions to find the truth. The questions he asked held more value than the answers I gave him. For penance, one person is enough; for argument, it takes two. We turned the argument into a form of penance. I took my leave like parting from a lover. A healthy meeting is one that brings both knowledge and flavor to both sides", wrote Vairamuthu by sharing a picture of him and Rajinikanth from the latest meeting.
Vairamuthu has associated with Rajinikanth in several Tamil films to pens lyrics for songs in the Superstar actor's films, while 'Arima Arima' from 'Enthiran', 'Vetri Nichayam' from 'Annamalai', 'Unnaithane Thanjam Endru' from 'Nallavanuku Nallavan' are popular among them. Rajinikanth and Vairamuthu's meeting grabbed attention when fans started to think about their reunion, the lyricist called it a healthy meeting to mute those speculations.
