Vaibhav's Katteri to release on April 17

Deekay's Katteri has been in the making for a long time. The film, which has Vaibhav, Karunakaran, Sonam Bajwa, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Aathmika in the lead roles, completed the shoot of the film over a year ago. However, due to certain delays, the film wasn't released. Now, the makers have finally announced that the film will hit the screens on April 17.
When we spoke to Deekay sometime ago, he said that "Katteri is an adventure, horror comedy.The kids will surely enjoy this film." With four heroines in the film - Sonam Bajwa, Aathmika, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Manali Rathore, Deekay said that each character in the film has a solid role to play.
He said, "Except for Sonam, no one else is paired opposite Vaibhav. There is no duet or any stereotypical romantic sequence. Everyone has a solid role. For instance, in the scene 'panni moonji vaya', in Yaamirukka Bayamey, Yogi Babu comes for just two scenes, but it created an impact. In the same manner, this one, too, has roles written for each actor."
