Vadivelu's next is 'Pei Mama'

Just when there is doubt over Vadivelu's 'Imsai Arasan 24 Am Pulikesi' and rumours that Yogi Babu would replace him in the film, the latest news is that Vadivelu will be next seen in 'Pei Mama' directed by Sakthi Chidambaram. The shooting of the film is expected to start soon.

The first look poster is out and Vadivelu looks as usual funny in one of his poses that has been used largely by the meme creators. The film is reported to be based on the horror comedy genre. An official announcement and more details regarding the projected is expected to be announced soon.

Vadivelu was last seen in a Thalapathy Vijay starrer blockbuster Mersal which was directed by Atlee. He has previously worked with Sakthi Chidambaram in film like English Kaaran, Kovai Brothers and Viyabari.

Vadivelu was supposed to play the lead in the sequel to Imsai Arasan 23 Am Pulikesi, directed by Chimbu Deven and produced by S Shankar, but the film seems to have been stalled due to creative differences.
