Vadivelu's Madurai trip sparks rumours
There have been rumours that Vadivelu's comeback film Gaja Buja Buja Gaja Tenali Ramanum Krishnadevarayarum has become a hot spot for troubles and the actor, upset with the developments, has now gone to Madurai. However, we learn that the project is still on.
Says a source in the unit, 'There was initially a problem with the original cinematographer Arthur Wilson.

Now, he has been replaced by Ramnath Shetty. The team has completed the first schedule in sets erected in Chennai. However, since this is director Yuvaraj's first period film (he earlier directed the rural comedy Potta Potti), he wanted to be sure that he got the look and feel right. So, he has planned to edit the footage of the first schedule before moving on to the next schedules.'
The source adds that this break is the reason behind Vadivelu leaving for Madurai and that the rumours came about because the comedian declined to meet a few media persons regarding the film. 'Only last week, we had signed on popular TV actress Latha Rao to play the queen in the film. Her segments will be shot in the forthcoming schedule,' he informs.
