Ilaiyaraaja, the music maestro recently celebrated his 80
th birthday. After the government had relaxed the pandemic lockdown restrictions this year, Ilaiyaraaja conducted two live concerts, one in Chennai and one in Coimbatore. Now, the music director is conducting his third live concert of the year in Madurai reportedly on June 26.

Vadivelu will be joining the music maestro on stage at the musical event.
A promo video has surfaced online of actor Vadivelu stating that Ilaiyaraaja is the one who made him start singing and the actor added that he will be singing at the live concert in Madurai with him.
Vadivelu apart from being a comedian and actor, is also a playback singer. He has sung three songs in Tamil and they are ‘Poda Poda Punnaku’, ‘Ettana Irundhaa’, ‘Ammanikku Adangi Pochudaa’. The actor after a long break is making a comeback in Kollywood with the film ‘Naai Sekar Returns’. He also has a few projects in the pipeline that include ‘Maamannan’ and ‘Chandramukhi 2’.
