Vadivelu to be part of Rajinikanth's 'Thalaivar 169'

A couple of days ago, an official announcement was made by Sun Pictures that they will producing ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth’s next which is tentatively titled ‘Thalaivar 169’. Director Nelson Dilipkumar will be directing the movie and Anirudh Ravichander is the music composer. The production has not yet revealed any other information regarding the cast and crew of the film.
The latest reports have also suggested that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan might be roped in as the female lead of the movie.The promo shoot of ‘Thalaivar 169’ has reportedly began and Rajinikanth’s role in the movie is touted to be a humorous role. The film will soon complete its pre-production work and it is expected to go on grounds soon.
Now, another news regarding the movie has surfaced that Vadivelu will be reportedly joining the cast of the movie. Rajinikanth and Vadivelu has always shared a good chemistry in earlier films. The humour parts in the film ‘Chandramukhi’ are to be called out for. Following that Vadivelu and Rajinikanth worked in ‘Kuselan’ as well.
Rajinikanth was last seen in the film ‘Annaatthe’. Though the film earned a good box office number, it was not the best film of Rajinikanth that were loved by fans. Meanwhile, Nelson Dilipkumar is now working on the post-production of ‘Beast’ which is scheduled to release in April 2022. ‘Beast’ features Vijay and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
