Kamal Hassan’s dropped film
Thalaivan Irukindran
is set to kickstart again after Indian 2. Now there is a new speculation that comedy actor
Vadivelu is joining the star cast of the film.
It is also said that the actor is playing the role of Esaki with one arm which he played in Kamal Hassan’s blockbuster film Thevar Magan which was released in 1992. Thalaivan Irukindran is said to be bankrolled by Lyca Productions while it will have music by A.R Rahman. It was planned to be Hindi- Tamil bilingual film while many Bollywood actors are said to be roped in for this flick.
The veteran comedian who was last seen in Vijay’s Mersal was not seen on the silver screen for the last two years. Most hyped Vadivelu starrer Imsai Arasan 24aam Pulikesi directed Chimbudevan was put on hold after creative differences between the actor and the producer. There has been constant speculation about the project being revived, there is no official word on the status of the film.
