‘Vada Chennai’: Vetrimaaran wraps up first part of Dhanush’s film

‘Vada Chennai’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Tamil films this year. The film that has already created much buzz in the social media recently wrapped up shooting of its first schedule.

The film is reportedly a gangster drama and has been planned as a trilogy that tracks 30 years of the life of a notorious gangster. The makers of the film have apparently spent a lavish amount to recreate the ‘80s setting.Set in the backdrop of North Chennai, Dhanush will essay the main lead.
To be directed by Vetrimaaran of ‘Visaranai’ fame, the film will also feature Ameer, Aishwarya Rajesh, Andrea Jeremiah, Samuthirakani, Kishore and Daniel Balaji.
Apart from, ‘Vada Chennai’, Dhanush has projects like ‘Maari 2’, ‘The Extraordinary Journey of The Fakhir’ and ‘Enai Noki Paayum Thotta’ under his belt.
