The wait is over! The highly anticipated teaser of Dhanush-starrer ‘Vada Chennai’ is here and boy, the film appears to be an intense revenge drama. Unveiling the teaser on Twitter,

Going by the video, it looks like ‘Vada Chennai’ seems to span across several years and tracks the story of a
carrom
board player-turned-gangster Anbu (Dhanush). From the teaser, it’s pretty evident that ‘Vada Chennai’ is about the gangwar in North Madras. Directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Vetri Maaran, it’s safe to say that ‘Vada Chennai’ is very likely to strike a chord with the audiences. Slated to release sometime in September, ‘Vada Chennai’ is one of the most awaited films this year. Set in North Madras, ‘Vada Chennai’ is also reported to have a strong political backdrop.
