The Tamil-Telugu bilingual Vaathi/Sir, starring Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon in the lead and directed by Venky Atluri is gearing up for release on February 17, 2023. With the film all set to hit the screens soon, the makers have released the trailer of the film.
The film is said to be an ambitious journey of a common man, which has Dhanush playing a role of college teacher. The film is said to be a social drama that revolves around the education mafia and highlights one young man’s fight against the privatisation of education.
The over a minute trailer gives a glimpse of how Dhanush fights against education system, which is being handles like a business. While Samyuktha Menon plays the female lead, Samuthirakani plays the villain.
Bankrolled by S Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya of Sithara Entertainments, the Tamil-Telugu bilingual has been titled 'Vaathi' in Tamil and 'Sir' in Telugu.
