Dhanush's 'Asuran', which was directed by Vetrimaaran was much loved by the audience, was a massively profitable venture. The producer of the film Kalaipuli S Thanu decided to remake the film in Telugu with Venkatesh playing the lead and titled the film 'Narappa'. The first look posters of 'Narappa' were revealed yesterday and it united Ajith and Vijay fans on Twitter.
The fans of Kollywood are worried about the Telugu remake of 'Asuran' and felt afraid about the outcome from Venkatesh.Some of the fans expressed their displeasure for Telugu actors remaking Tamil films. This offended the Telugu audience who pointed out to Tamil fans about past Tamil remakes of Telugu films.
