Udhay, Ahmed to remake Jolly LLB

Director Ahmed was supposed to start his film titled Idhayam Murali with Udhayanidhi Stalin, once the actor completed the shoot of his upcoming film Gethu. Now, we hear that there is a change in plan. They have decided to put Idhayam Murali on hold, and Ahmed will now be directing the Tamil remake of the National Award-winning Bollywood film Jolly LLB with Udhayanidhi in the lead.The original, a hilarious courtroom drama, starred Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani in the lead.
Confirming the news, Udhayanidhi says, ���I am playing the lead in the Tamil remake of Jolly LLB. The film will be directed by Ahmed, and we have decided to put Idhayam Murali on hold as of now. We are yet to finalise the cast and technicians for the film. The shoot of the film will begin on August 20.���
