As the film completed a month, the makers of 'The Road' are ready with the film's digital release, and the film is slated to stream on OTT from November 10. Trisha's film is being released on OTT as a special treat for fans this Diwali. 'The Road' will be streaming in multiple languages, and the film is expected to grab more praise from the audience.
Directed by Arun Vaseegaran, 'The Road' is a crime thriller, and it features Trisha in the lead role as an investigation officer, with Santhosh Prathap, Miya George, Dancing Rose Shabeer, MS Bhaskar, Vivek Prasanna, Vela Ramamoorthy, Laxmi Priya, Semmalar Annam, Raatchasan Vinoth, and Karupu Nambiyaar, among others, in crucial roles. Sam CS scored the music, while the visuals were captured by KG Venkatesh.
Opened with mixed reviews, 'The Road' failed to have an extended theatrical run as the theaters across locations were mobbed by Vijay's 'Leo'. However, it was also a happy moment for the fans of Trisha as the actress played the female lead in 'Leo' and she paired up with Vijay in the film after 15 years.
