Celebrities have been taking up the Green India Challenge, and have been nominating several of their colleagues and their fans to continue the challenge. Recently, versatile actor

Trisha took up the challenge and posted pictures of her planting two saplings.
In her social media account, she said, "I accepted the #GreenIndiaChallenge and planted two saplings today. I request you all to do your bit and help towards a greener India." While she didn't nominate anyone, she urged her fans and everyone else to make our country a greener one.
Other celebrities who have taken up the challenge, include actors like
Vijay,
Mahesh Babu, Shruti Haasan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Raashi Khanna and Rashmika Mandanna to name a few. Bollywood actors, too, have been taking up the challenge.
On the workfront, Trisha will be seen next in Mani Ratnam's magnum opus 'Ponniyin Selvan'. She plays one of the lead roles, and the actress even shared pictures of her reading the historic novel. The film also has Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Aishwarya Lekshmi in lead roles.
