Trisha took it to twitter to post a short awareness video on
Children’s right
on the
world children’s day
. Trisha is a socially aware actress when it comes to the public forum and currently, she is the UNICEF’S (The United Nations Children's Fund) celebrity advocate for Children Rights in South India.
The actress was selected in 2017 and has committed herself to support efforts to address problems such as anemia, early marriage, child labour and child abuse faced by children in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Trisha is the first south Indian actor to receive recognition by UNICEF.
The actress is currently in the shooting of Raangi directed by Saravanan while the movie is produced by Lyca Production. Trisha is also part of films like Garjanai, Sathuranga Vilayattu 2, Paramapadham Villayattu, and Sugar, which is in different stages of production.
