Trisha and Simran’s next titled Sugar?

If reports are to be believed, Trisha and Simran’s upcoming film is titled Sugar. The film is said to be an action adventure and is directed by Sumanth Radhakrishnan of Sadhuram 2 fame. Simran and Trisha had recently come together for Rajinikanth’s Petta but they didn’t share screen space in it Before that, Trisha had made a blink and miss appearance in Jodi (1999), which starred Simran and Prashanth in the lead.Trisha played Simran’s friend in it.
The film is bankrolled by All In Pictures, the producers of Gorilla. The two stars play siblings in the film and the shoot is on in full swing in places like Chennai, Pichavaram, Kerala and Thailand. Music for the film is by Santhosh Dhayanidhi and cinematography is by Saravanan Ramasamy. The film will have some heavy-duty action scenes.
