Today's children are overworked: Ram

Director Ram's last release Thanga Meenkal was based on father-daughter relationship. The director goes on to explain that today's children are under severe stress.
'An average man can only work for 8 hours with utmost productivity. But our children today, not only slog for eight hours in school, but also spend time studying in their homes. They have the pressure to perform and eventually, they do not play as much as they used to before.Schools too are building more blocks thus, using up the place meant for the children to play. They study in a confined atmosphere and it's the same when they get back home. We are just snatching away their innocence,' says the director.
