The trailer of actress Amala Paul's upcoming film, a forensic crime thriller 'Cadaver', is out now. The film directed and scripted by Malayalis Anoop Panicker and Abhilash Pillai respectively, is all set to be premiered on a popular OTT platform soon. Besides playing the central character in the film, Amala Paul has also bankrolled the project.
The trailer gives a glimpse of the thrilling movie, which is about the rape and murder case of a girl and the accused behind it. Amala Paul plays the role of Dr Bhadra, who is the chief police surgeon in Tamil Nadu, and the entire film hinges on her character’s ingenious skills and methods to solve a case.
The cast and crew includes Athulya Ravi, Harish Uthaman, Riythvika, Munishkanth, among others while we have Aravinnd Singh beind the lens, San Lokesh on the edit, and music composed by Ranjin Raj.
The film has drawn inspiration from true events with renowned former Kerala police surgeon Dr B Umadathan having been consulted by the film’s team during its script development stage.
While the shooting of the Amala Paul starrer 'Cadaver' was wrapped up earlier last year and it went into the post-production mode, now gearing up for release on August 12.
