This Samuthirakani-starrer will revolve around agriculture

Samuthirakani will play a crucial role in the upcoming film Arisi. Politician Ra Mutharasan will be making his acting debut with the film. Dhanush’s Thiruda Thirudi director, Subramaniam Siva, is also part of its cast.Director SA Vijaykumar tells us that the film will be based on agriculture. “The film particularly talks about the importance of rice. That’s why we have named the film Arisi. It conveys the message that the world will not end with us, and we will have to safeguard and preserve it for the next generation,” he says.Samuthirakani’s character in the film is named Jeeva. Elaborating on the actor’s role and the film’s premise, Vijaykumar shares, “Samuthirakani will be the one who passes on a particular something to the next generation that Mutharasan’s has left behind.”Ilaiyaraaja will be composing the music for the film which has cinematography by Johnson, and editing by Ashok Charles.
