This Day Last Year: Title of Shanthanu's next film ‘Raavana Kottam’ had impressed actor Vijay

On that note, here’s a happy throwback from this day last year when Shanthanu's next film’s title, ‘Raavan Kottam’ had impressed actor Vijay.On April 28, 2019, popular actor Shanthanu had received a sweet SMS from Thalapthy Vijay congratulating him for his next film and wishing him luck. Vijay was very much impressed with the powerful title of Shanthanu's next film with director Vikram Sugumaran. Shanthanu had reacted saying that he felt confident and energetic after seeing the wish from his favourite star and brother Thalapathy Vijay.

Shanthanu had signed his next film after 'Mupparimanam' with director Vikram Sugumaran, who delivered a super hit with 'Madha Yaanai Koottam'. The expectations were high from the new combo, and the film was planned to be shot in a village near Ramnad district in Tamil Nadu. With Prabhu, Ilavarasu, Sujatha Sivakumar, Aruldoss and Deepa Shankar in key roles, the film, which was bankrolled by Kannan Ravi reportedly hasn’t proceeded ahead to date.
Meanwhile, Shanthanu's other film 'Vaanam Kottatum', which was directed by Dhana, was released a few months ago, and it received positive reviews. Also, Shanthanu is playing an important role in Vijay's upcoming film 'Master', which is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and the movie is expected to give the much-needed break for the star.
