Dhanush has joined hands with director Shekhar Kammular for his next. The film is tentatively titled 'D51', and the makers have now announced that a popular Bollywood actor has joined the film's cast. It's none other than Jim Sarbh, who is best for her roles in the films 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', 'Taish', 'Padmaavat', and 'Sanju', among others.
'D51' is a multilingual film scheduled for simultaneous release in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, with the makers roping in stars from various industries for better reach.
Jim Sarbh is set to make his Tamil and Telugu entry with Shekhar Kammula's directorial. 'D 51' already has Telugu actor Nagarjuna Akkineni in a crucial role, while Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead opposite Dhanush for the first time.
Touted to be a romantic drama, the shoot of 'D 51' is progressing. Dhanush will be seen in a new look for his character in the film. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.
Meanwhile, Dhanush's recent release 'Captain Miller' is performing well at the box office, and the film has surpassed the Rs 100-crore mark worldwide recently.
