Thillu Mullu in it's final stages

The remake of the original Rajinikanth-starrer Thillu Mullu Rajnikanth directed by K Balachander, which has Shiva and Isha Talwar in the lead directed by Badri of Veerappu fame is in the final stages of it's shooting. The film has been proceeding at a brisk pace with Prakash Raj and Kovai Sarala playing prominent roles.
Parotta Suri, Ilavarasu and Manobala play supporting roles in the film which has legendary music composer M S Viswanathan and Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music, the first time the duo will be working together.Prakash Raj will be replacing the character of late Thengai Srinivasan, who played the role in the original.
