Theri has taken me to the masses
Actor Prinz had only a brief role in Vijay's Theri (as a Malayali gangster), but he is taken aback by the reactions to his presence in the film. The role has registered with the public and today recognize me when I'm out on the streets. If Naan Sigappu Manithan , people made me recognizable in the industry , Theri has taken me to the masses, says the actor, who admits that he was awed by Vijay on the set. We shot the fight scene during the Chennai floods and I had fever. He kept enquiring if I was doing OK on the set and I was surprised that a superstar like Vijay sir cared about my well-being, praises the actor.
Now, he is playing a full-fledged villain in two upcoming films -Vijay Antony's Yeman and Atharvaa's Sema Botha Aagatha. In Yeman, my character is a silent but menacing one. In Atharvaa's film, I play a gangster, he says. The actor will also be seen in negative roles in Pandigai and Ulkuthu. For Pandigai, whose plot is about street-fighting, he says he shot one fight scene for 12 days with the film's hero Kreshna.
