Theatre kept me busy: Rishi

He was last seen on the big screen, playing one of the passengers on a hijacked plane in Payanam. While he���s been entertaining his audiences on TV through his game show, Rishi admits he misses shooting for films.
He says, ���After Payanam, I was busy with directing and acting in my play ��� Raj And His Red Hot Lover, and staging it across the country. Though I���m a theatre artist, that was was the first time I was directing a play, which had several biggies, including singer Ujjayinee Roy, acting in it.Several top directors saw the play, and some even suggested I make it into a film. I was also hosting game shows on television, and I didn���t have the time to concentrate on films.���
But Rishi says it was worth the wait, as he���s now part of two interesting projects. ���While I can���t talk much about one of the films, all I can say about the second one is that I play a character with a negative shade in it. I���m not exactly the villain in the film, titled Nandanam, but my character displays negative traits. The film is being directed by debutant Shyamalan, and Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan���s grandson, Sivaji, plays the lead, along with Mithra Kurien,��� he reveals.
Meanwhile, we hear the actor is also likely to sign another Tamil-Telugu bilingual.
