The trailer of 'Champion' is out

The trailer of director Suseenthiran's

Champion

was released on Monday. The film stars newcomer Vishwa as an aspiring football player in North Madras, who tries to overcome a lot of difficulties to make it big in the sport.

The sports drama stars

Narain Kumar

as his football coach and

Mirnalini Ravi

as the female lead. "Till I get to the ground, I might have problems. But once I am on the ground, I come out only after winning," Vishwa says in the voice over. The entire project was shot in and around Chennai. The camera for the film is cranked by Sujith Sarang while editing is handled by

Thiyagu

. Arrol Corelli has handled the film's music.

The film also stars Manoj K Bharathi and V Jayaprakash in important roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on December 13. The film's trailer and audio was launched on Monday. Suseenthiran's earlier sports film credits include Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, Jeeva and Kennedy Club.
