That one special call for Meenakshi

Actress Meenakshi���������s performance in the recently released Mandhira Punnahai has come in for appreciation from one and all.
But it���������s director Samuthirakani���������s words of praise that the actress holds close to her heart. An excited Meenakshi says, ���������The day the film hit the screens, Samuthirakani sir called me up to congratulate me.He told me that he saw the film with Karu Palaniappan and liked my performance very much. I���������m just an acquaintance to him, but the fact that he made an effort to call me up personally to congratulate me was very overwhelming. That���������s one call I will remember in years to come.��������� Meanwhile, Meenakshi says she will hopefully be signing a Tamil movie with a big director in a week���������s time. Looks like the year���������s ending on a positive note for her!
