Thaman confirms 'Varisu' first single release date

Thaman is a popular composer down the South and he is busy with his Tamil and Telugu movies. The energetic composer is set to deliver two back-to-back festival releases, 'Prince' with Sivakarthikeyan for this Diwali, and 'Varisu' with Vijay for Pongal 2023. Sivakarthikeyan, Thaman, and the 'Prince' team during the pre-release event that took place in Hyderabad yesterday, shared their experience working on the film. Thaman shared his experience working with Sivakarthikeyan and cinematographer Manoj Paramahamsa for 'Prince' and spilled beans about 'Varisu'.


Accordingly, Thaman has confirmed that the 'Varisu' first single will be released this Diwali, and said that the song will be captured by Manoj Paramahamsa. The song is planned to be filmed in the next few days on the set erected in Hyderabad.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, 'Varisu' features Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna in lead roles with Prakash Raj, Sarathkumar, Prabhu, Khushbu, Sangeetha, Shaam, and Samyuktha among others in supporting roles. Thaman is scoring music for Vijay for the first time, and the composer is excited about working with the actor as he is also an ardent fan of the actor. 'Varisu' is reported to be an emotional family filled with romance, comedy, action, and sentiments, and the film is slated to hit the big screens during Pongal 2023.
