'Thalapathy 67' shooting underway at the film city in Chennai

Vijay and director Lokesh Kanagaraj have reunited for the second time for the actor's 67th film, and the expectations are high among the fans for the reunion of the 'Master' duo. The film has been tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 67' and the film's muhurat puja happened a month back. 'Thalapathy 67' is yet to be launched officially and the team waits for the actor's 'Varisu' to release first. Meanwhile, actor Mano Bala, who has been part of 'Thalapathy 67', has revealed a piece of information about the film shoot on Twitter and shared his excitement about meeting Lokesh Kanagaraj and Vijay on the film set.


Mano Bala's tweet confirmed the shooting commencement of 'Thalapathy 67' and it went viral. However, the actor then deleted his tweet regarding 'Thalapathy 67' and apologized to fans. However, fans didn't miss capturing a screenshot of Manobala's deleted tweet.

The 'Thalapathy 67' shooting is currently happening in a film city in Chennai and seems like the team is filming some minor portions. The team will take a short break for Pongal next week, and they will be shooting for a week or more in Chennai again. The Jammu and Kashmir schedule of 'Thalapathy 67' might begin in February as the team waits for perfect weather conditions.

Reported to be a Pan-Indian gangster drama, 'Thalapathy 67' will reportedly have Trisha, Suriya, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, and Nivin Pauly among others, while Gautham Menon and Mansoor Ali Khan have confirmed their participation.
