Thalaivi trailer to be out on Kangana Ranaut's birthday

The makers of Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi are all set to have a special treat for fans on the occasion of the actress’s birthday. On her birthday on 23rd March, the actress will be launching the trailer of Thalaivi, the trilingual biopic on the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa. The makers are planning to do the same in a grand event. The biopic will trace the journey of one of the most influential women in Indian politics.Kangana has been learning Bharatanatyam and brushing up on her Tamil for the role.
The film will have Arvind Swami playing popular leader and former Chief Minister of the state MG Ramachandran and is directed by Vijay. It was only recently on Jayalalithaa's birth anniversary that the makers had announced that the film will release in cinemas pan India on 23rd April, 2021.Thalaivi is set to release worldwide in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. This will be Kangana's second film in Tamil after Dhaam Dhoom in which she shared screen space with Jayam Ravi and Laxmi Raai.
