Thalaivasal Vijay's daughter makes him proud

Actor Thalaivasal Vijay is all excited. But, this time around, the Anegan actor is happy for his daughter, who has been creating waves in swimming. The veteran actor's daughter AV Jayaveena, a student of Sri Ramachandra University in BSc, Sports Sciences, recently bagged three gold, two silver and a bronze medal at the all-India Inter-Univerity aquatic championship held at Punjab University, Chandigarh.
'Jayaveena's tryst with swimming began when she was just two and a half years old. I remember her coaching telling me that she was all smiles when she jumped into a pool with 9 ft water and came out smiling. She used to accompany her older brother Jaywant Kumar, who is also a swimmer. There has been no looking back for her since then. Though I do not know much swimming, I am glad that both my children are getting better at it day by day,' says the proud father.
