Thalaivaa team denied permission?

The latest buzz about Vijay starrer 'Thalaivaa' is that the permission for a hunger strike has been denied. The producers had approached the Chennai police commissioner for permission for the fast yesterday. It further looks like the team is planning to approach the High Court for intervention for the release of 'Thalaivaa' in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.
The entire cast and crew of Thalaivaa, including Ilayathalapathy Vijay, Sathyaraj, Amala Paul, director Vijay, music composer GV Prakash, cinematographer Nirav Shah, lyricist Na Muthukumar and producer Chandraprakash Jain, had plans to fast in an organized manner, to speed up the release of the film.
Two days before its scheduled release on Aug 9, 'Thalaivaa' was stalled from being released after a political outfit issued threats to theatre owners. After a week of it's release world wide, it is still unclear of 'Thalaivaa' fate in Tamil Nadu.
