Teejay finishes shooting for Pathu Thala in Karaikudi

Singer and Kollywood actor, Teejay, has been regularly updating fans and followers on social media about ‘Pathu Thala’ shooting. Teejay, who made his acting debut with Dhanush and Vetri Maaran’s ‘Asuran’, plays a prominent role in ‘Pathu Thala’, which has Silambarasan in the lead role. The film, which is directed by Obeli N Krishna, also stars Gautham Karthik and Gautham Menon.Priya Bhavani Shankar also plays an important role in the film. A few days ago, there was a lot of buzz online among Kollywood movie buffs about the film’s shooting in Karaikudi. It was reported that the team would be shooting an intense action sequence in Karaikudi. It was said to be a four-day shoot in Karaikudi.
Now, it looked like the team wrapped up the schedule. Teejay, on his social media page, updated the same and mentioned how he enjoyed the warm welcome of supporters and the Chettinad food. While sharing two pics of himself, the singer and actor wrote, “🤙🏽 Finished filming in Karaikudi! Enjoyed the Chetinad food at @thebangala :) The supporters were so welcoming! Thanks for all your love. #PathuThala (sic).” In the photographs, Teejay appeared sporting an unkempt look.

The film, ‘Pathu Thala’, is the remake of Kannada film ‘Mufti’. Silambarasan will be seen playing the role of a gang leader named AGR. The film’s music is by music maestro AR Rahman and the movie is said to be aiming to release on big screens in December.
