, playing Vijay Sethupathi's female lead, is now all set to enter

. The actress, who is the granddaughter of yesteryear actor Ravichandran (of Kathalikka Neramillai fame), made her

debut

in Tamil with Sasikumar's Balle Vellaiyathevaa and then played Arulnithi's romantic interest in director Radha Mohan's Brindavanam.

Gummakonda's untitled film that will be directed by debutant Sri Saripalli. The project was announced by the makers today as a birthday gift to Kartikeya, who was born on September 21. Kartikeya will be playing the role of an NIA officer in this film, which will also have Sai Kumar, Tanikella Bharani, Sudhakar Komakula and Pasupathy in crucial roles.
