Tanya Hope in Sundar C's film with Mani Seiyon

Sundar C, who has completed his next directorial, the horror comedy

, starring Arya, Raashi Khanna, Andrea Jeremiah and Sakshi Aggarwal, had started acting as the lead in

Kattapava Kaanom

director Mani Seiyon's untitled crime drama earlier this March.

Heba Patel

and Chandini Tamilarasan were announced as the female leads, with Nerkonda Paarvai fame Abhirami Venkatachalam, Kamal Kamaraj, Jayakumar, Murugadoss, Rajkumar and others will be seen in supporting roles. Santhosh Dhayanidhi is composing the music for this film while Mani Perumal is its cinematographer.

The poojai of the film had happened in March, but in April, Sundar C had tested positive for COVID-19 and got hospitalised for a few days as a safety measure. He recovered a few days later.

Now, the makers of the film have revealed that Thadam and Dharala Prabhu fame Tanya Hope will also be playing a key role in this film. The actress is also part of a couple of other films in Kollywood. She is playing the female lead opposite Vemal in the rural drama

, which is being shot in and around Madurai. She has also signed on to play the heroine in Adith Arun's (who has acted in Inidhu Inidhu and Thangamagan)

, directed by debutant Stalin. The film is being made as a bilingual, in Tamil and Telugu, and is a crime thriller centred around highway robbery.

, and will be seen in the upcoming Telugu film Idhe Maa Katha.
