Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly condoles the demise of famous playback singer Lata Mangeshkar

Popular playback singer Lata Mangeshkar passed away at the age of 92 on February 6th after suffering a multiple-organ failure. The demise of the veteran singer had shocked the entire Indian cinema industry, and more than thousands had gathered at Mumbai's Shivaji Park to pay their condolences to the legendary singer. Now, the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly has condoled the death of the famous playback singer. The Assembly will be convening for the next three days to discuss the recently announced budget plan for the next financial year. On the first day today, condolences were expressed over the death of former playback singer Lata Mangeshkar. Tamil Nadu Legislative members have reportedly remained silent for a minute in the assembly to mourn the demise of Lata Mangeshkar, and a mourning resolution was read in the assembly.
