A Tamil Nadu court recently rejected actor Mansoor Ali Khan's plea for anticipatory bail following his sexist remarks against actress Trisha Krishnan. The bail application was denied due to errors in the actor's plea. The Thousand Island All Women police station in Chennai also issued a summons for Mansoor Ali Khan to appear in person on November 23. Initially speculated to skip the summons, the actor eventually appeared before the police.

Mansoor Ali Khan, known for his role in the Thalapathy Vijay starrer film 'Leo,' had made sexist and derogatory comments about his co-actor Trisha Krishnan. In his remarks, Khan openly expressed disappointment at not having scenes with Trisha in the film and made inappropriate comments about expecting a bedroom scene with her.

The court rejected Khan's anticipatory bail, citing errors in the petition and reprimanding him for wasting the court's time. Despite initial reluctance, Khan eventually appeared before the police station in Chennai. His comments sparked widespread backlash from prominent actors and artists, including Trisha, Chiranjeevi, and Lokesh Kanagaraj.
