Leo Tolstoy
museum in
Russia
to take part in the 14th international seminar of translation of Leo Tolstoy's works, which will be held between September 10 and 14. The event will be held at Yasnaya Polyana, Russia, the birth place of Tolstoy.

The museum has invited Venkatesh because he is the grandson of Rao Sahib K
Kothandapani Pillai
, who translated Tolstoy's stories in Tamil under the title Kadhaimanikkovai. The book was a text book for Tamil students in 1932. Pillai served as the collector of Madras and controller of emigration till India became a republic.
The filmmaker will be presenting the book at the event and will also be delivering a speech on the topi, 'Leo Tolstoy's Influence In Tamil Literature'.
