Looks like the shooting for her Hindi film Running Shaadi.com has given Taapsee an opportunity to not only shoot at one of the historically prominent forts in the country, but also rub shoulders with the royal family that resides there. The actress shot with the team of the film at the royal fort of Bagrian in Punjab for a few days, the same fort were Son of Sardaar was shot.Taapsee says, 'It's an ancient fort and the descendants of the royal family still reside there. We camped in the village, which is near Patiala, for more than 10 days. And every day, our hosts would insist that we have meals with them; we were served the yummiest authentic Punjabi dishes and shown around the place. Despite hailing from such a royal background, they were so down-to-earth and had no airs of being from an illustrious family.'
The actress is presently in Chennai, shooting for
Ganga: Muni 3. 'I play a TV series director in the film, and my character is the only one who remains serious throughout the film. I was surprised when Lawrence chose me for it!' she smiles.
Meanwhile, her friendship with Denmark-based badminton player Mathias Boe has caught the attention of many. Their tweet conversations and camaraderie have raised a few eyebrows. Quiz her what's brewing and she says, 'I met Boe during the league matches and we have been friends since then.' Prod her and she says firmly, 'I'm tired of seeing so many alleged link-ups that I have stopped commenting about my personal life. Boe and my friendship is a part of my personal life and I refuse to comment on it.'
