Surya Vijay Sethupathi's 'Phoenix' release postponed

Actor Vijay Sethupathi's son, Surya is all for the release of his debut film as a lead actor with stunt choreographer, Anal Arasu's debut directorial film titled 'Phoenix'. While the action packed entertainer was initially planned to release on November 14, the latest is that the film's release has been postponed.
The production house in a statement said, "We regret to inform you that the highly anticipated film phoenix which was initially scheduled for release on november 14th, 2024, will be postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. We as a team are working tirelessly to deliver the best possible cinematic experience. With even greater excitement and anticipation. A revised release date will be announced soon. We thank you for your continuous support, understanding and patience. We promise phoenix will rise stronger than ever, and when it does, it will be with a bang!"

The film is said to be an action sports drama which also has Varalaxmi Sarathkumar and Harish Uthaman in important roles with Abi Nakshathra of 'Ayali' fame and Varsha playing the female leads, and 'Kaaka Muttai' fame Vignesh in a supporting role.
